EWHS Fundraiser AUGUST 16th and 17th.
At lunch time the grills will be red hot at the upcoming Athletics Fundraiser on 8/16 & 8/17. Bring your appetite for summer fare along with your road-trip dusty car to the First Annual Car Wash and Garage Sale. Other Warrior festivities in support of our student athletes include sno-cones and face painting. Garage sale begins at 9 a.m. in the West parking lot; Car Wash starts at 10 a.m. by the flag pole. Coffee & doughnuts will also be available in the morning.
The athletic boosters are still accepting donations for the garage sale, if you can help, bring your donated items on Saturday morning or if you need a truck pick-up on the 15th please call me at 206-406-1697. Unfortunately we cannot accept computers, monitors, TVs or appliances, broken furniture, clothing (unless it is baby clothing in good condition).
Football Forms needed to play football "New Forms" Weight Room - Open Monday thru Thursday all summer 10am til 11am and 6pm to 7pm
Speed and agility - Starting July 7th and ending August 19th. Tuesday's and Thursday's 11:10am to 12:10am and Monday and Wednesday's 7:10pm to 8:10pm (cost is $40 to cover unlimited sessions or $5.00 per session). Make checks payable to Matt Douglas). If you need financial help please contact Coach Gradwohl. Physical Trainer: Kevin Kleyla Kevin has been working in the athletic club environments since 1995. Kevin's training specialty is sports performance, specifically in developing the fundamental framework that makes up an athlete. Kevin spent 2 1/2 years training under one of the world's top speed and conditioning coaches where he utilized his opportunity to train professional, Olympic, collegiate, high school and middle school athletes including one World Record holder. Education/Certification: NSCA-CPT There will be an emphasis on 6 second speed and agility. An average football play last 6 seconds and this workout will get the football player into football shape. The drills will develop and enhance foundational athletic qualities of speed, quickness, balance, agility, coordination, core strength. (Speed / agility ladder, plyometrics, dynamic warm up, cone drills) Our new website is under constuction. We hope to have it set-up by April 5th.
